High achievement always happens inside the framework of high expectation.
There won't be any techniques for success. Oahu is the results of preparation, hard work, and gaining knowledge from failure.

"..It sold 2000 copies in the first year.." Well Mick, you've sold 1500 copies in 48 hours this time!

Plenty more to come as they're still moving like hot cakes in the USA.

Well done!

Brilliant, congratulations Mick. I really must treat myself to a 'Kindle'. Hard copy will have to suffice for now though. All of which I have read except for 'Boy from Berlin' which I am saving for next hols. All thoroughly enjoyed. Keep on writing wont you!

I replied to Pete separately but want to put something here. The figures we receive from AB.c are exactly as Pete receives them from Amazon, which he passes on to the members of Acclaimed Books. Any delay is down to Amazon's tardy reporting of these figures.

Mick
You do have access to your Amazon sales figures through your Author Central account and if you ever doubt the figures from Ab.c, just ask and I'll give you my log on details so you can see for yourself. I wouldn't want anyone reading your post to feel, as I did, that you were doubting the figures you get. Unfortunately, low sales have not covered your set up costs for your UK printing, you may recall I mentioned to you that that might be the case.

I too, hope the Moston program works out for you as well as the latest Kindle promotion.

It was a special time wasn't it Mike. Although we so often have a sense of helplessness all of us at the centre try to remember that we just need to focus on the small offers of help we can give. All these seemingly insignificant small acts of service somehow combine to make such a difference. We experience miracles each week...it is an amazing place.
....and by the way I am that other woman!!!!!
